FanDuel Group, a subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment, has established a partnership with the Canadian Football League (CFL). This collaboration marks FanDuel as the CFL’s inaugural authorized gaming operator and an official sportsbook partner. Ontario residents will have the opportunity to wager on CFL events through FanDuel, as the operator obtained a license in the province back in April 2023.

FanDuel Group, a subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment, has announced a groundbreaking partnership with the Canadian Football League (CFL), solidifying its position as the league’s inaugural authorized gaming operator and official sportsbook partner. This collaboration marks an exciting milestone for both FanDuel and the CFL, opening up new avenues for sports betting enthusiasts.

As part of the agreement, FanDuel will bring its renowned sports betting services to Ontario, where it holds a license obtained prior to the province’s official launch of its legal sports betting market in April 2022. Ontario-based consumers will now have access to an array of CFL betting options through the FanDuel platform.

Fans can look forward to an assortment of betting markets, including exciting in-game player props such as anytime touchdown scorers, as well as a wide range of futures bets. This partnership will enhance the overall fan experience, allowing enthusiasts to engage with CFL games in a unique and interactive way, while adding an extra layer of excitement to the on-field action.

FanDuel Group, a prominent sports betting provider owned by Flutter Entertainment, made a groundbreaking move by signing a multi-year content production deal with the renowned streaming audio giant Spotify in May 2023. Building upon their existing partnership, the agreement will see FanDuel collaborating closely with Spotify’s popular platform, “The Ringer,” which encompasses its website, podcast network, and video production house.

The agreement includes licensing select video podcasts from “The Ringer” to be featured on FanDuel TV, incorporating both existing shows adapted for the platform and brand new programs focused on various sports and competitions, including the highly anticipated National Basketball Association (NBA). Additionally, viewers can expect a range of custom-made content dedicated to sports betting and wagering, covering an extensive array of sporting events.

This collaboration between FanDuel and Spotify represents a convergence of two major players in the entertainment industry, combining their expertise to provide unique and engaging content for sports fans and betting enthusiasts alike. FanDuel chief commercial officer Mike Raffensperger expects the music streaming platform’s audience to widen even further thanks to the deal:

Major League Baseball (MLB) and FanDuel Joined Forces in March 2023

In a major development for sports betting enthusiasts, FanDuel Group, owned by Flutter Entertainment, announced an exclusive partnership with Major League Baseball (MLB) in March 2023. Under this new agreement, FanDuel will serve as a co-exclusive sports betting partner for the league, further solidifying its position as an authorized gaming operator since 2019.

This strategic move allows FanDuel to offer its dedicated fans an exciting feature: the ability to stream MLB.TV’s Free Game of the Day directly through the FanDuel sportsbook app and the FanDuel+ OTT platform. However, it’s important to note that the availability of this feature will be subject to local blackout restrictions.

The partnership between FanDuel and MLB showcases the ongoing convergence of sports and betting industries, with both parties recognizing the value of providing immersive experiences for fans.
