Exclusive Offers and Merchandise

William Hill has unveiled its latest collaboration with heritage bookmaker William Hill. The popular sportsbook has agreed to act as Aston Villa’s official in-stadium betting partner for the next two EFL seasons. As part of the deal, William Hill will offer its betting facilities inside the Premier League side’s Villa Park stadium.

The club’s fans are set to benefit from enhanced matchday experiences. Speaking on behalf of the bookmaker, William Hill’s Director of Media and Creative Liam McKee explained what supporters can look forward to. Fans will be able to enjoy an array of exciting offers and exclusive opportunities, including access to match tickets and Aston Villa merchandise.

Continuing, McKee said that William Hill is thrilled to be teaming up with Aston Villa to offer its retail betting experience at the club’s home ground. Praising the unique atmosphere to be found at Villa Park, he added that William Hill is looking forward to adding to fans’ matchday experiences over the next two seasons.

Aston Villa FC’s Chief Commercial Officer Nicola Ibbetson was equally delighted to welcome William Hill to Villa Park. As an industry leader and one of the world’s leading sports betting brands, their retail betting offering will be positively received by fans attending Villa Park on matchdays.

In November, William Hill announced a similar collaboration with Celtic FC. The bookmaker will be the club’s official in-stadium betting partner for the next two seasons. Hoops supporters will enjoy an enhanced stadium experience as well as exclusive offers and promotions.

Villa Park Regeneration

Earlier this month, Birmingham City Council granted planning permission for phase one of Aston Villa’s redevelopment and expansion of Villa Park. The club aims to increase the capacity of its stadium to more than 50,000, which will allow Villa Park to host major international tournaments.

The club is keen to return to the world stage and was last month shortlisted by the UK and Ireland bid to host the UEFA EURO 2028 Championship. The redevelopment will include a brand-new North Stand, improvements to the existing Trinity Stand and the creation of Villa Live, a 6,500 sqm multi-purpose commercial destination.

Villa Live will replace the existing shop, academy building and security lodge. Accessibility to the stadium will also be enhanced, through the creation of a more than 7,000 sqm area around the Witton Lane entrance. The club is already working with the West Midlands Combined Authority and West Midlands Rail Executive to improve its transport system around the B6 area.

The securement of planning approval for the refurbishments at Villa Park is the exciting first step in the club’s mission to offer a world-class venue. The improvements at the stadium come as part of the city’s wider redevelopment plan of the Aston area. CEO of the club Christian Purslow was pleased to reveal that planning permission had been granted, stating:

“This is great news firstly for our fans – many of whom are on a waiting list for season tickets; secondly for the Club itself – as our long-term competitive strategy depends on continued growth; and finally for our city and region – with the prospect of a redeveloped Villa Park driving economic regeneration in our local community and bringing back international football to Birmingham.”

It is expected that the redevelopment of Villa Park will help to bring an estimated £119.9 million into the West Midlands economy each year. During and after construction hundreds of new jobs will be created. Aston Villa hopes to attract 1.65 million visitors to the local area every year.

Aston Villa Partners With Kaiyun Sports

Earlier this year, the top-flight side announced Asian betting brand Kaiyun Sports as its new official partner and official sleeve partner. The betting brand is one of Asia’s top digital sports platforms, but is new to the European market. As part of the deal, the Kaiyun Sports logo is featured on the sleeves of the first team’s playing kits.

Kaiyun Sports has created an exclusive app that blends football and entertainment, offering users an immersive online and offline interactive service. A spokesperson for Kaiyun Sports explained why the sports brand is pleased to be partnering with one of the Premier League’s best-loved teams. Its Chief Marketing Officer stated:

“Kaiyun Sports look forward to working with Aston Villa to write a new story of football co-operation. We will work together to create a safe online and offline interaction for users – a one-stop sports and entertainment platform, providing fans around the world with a top sports experience.”

At the moment, the Kaiyun Sports website says that it is still being built but plans to go live soon. Once completed, the site will provide UK players with a brand-new online sportsbook and casino offering. The site is supported by TGP Europe Limited, a white label license holder that partners with operators to run B2C gaming websites.

While TGP Europe may not be a name familiar to betting fans in the UK, many will have used its partners’ websites. It is responsible for popular betting sites including Stake.com, SportPesa and Fun88.
