Pragmatic Play Expands in Colombia and Spain

Pragmatic Play, the iGaming software provider licensed in Great Britain and Malta, has signed another deal with the company Codere, this time bringing its games and technology to the Latin American countries of Colombia and Spain. Pragmatic Play has had much success in LATAM so far, with many new partnerships over the last two years. Likewise, Codere is working to gain attention in Latin American markets.

Pragmatic Play and Codere Work Together Again

This deal builds off of previous collaborations. The two iGaming leaders have already worked together, most recently in Mexico where Pragmatic Play has been Codere’s games supplier.

Pragmatic Play is a software provider that creates not only highly-rated online casino games and slots like Wolf Gold, Sweet Bonanza and Fruit Party, but also technology for online casino operators. They provide administrative and backend assistance, multiple currency and payout options, analytics integration and mobile-friendly interfaces for a host of partners.

Codere’s partnership will focus mainly on game titles. Customers in Spain and Colombia will now have access to popular titles from Pragmatic Play, like customers in Mexico have enjoyed for some time.

The VP Commercial Strategy and Operations at Pragmatic Play, Bhotesh Maheshwari, shared the company’s enthusiasm for this new Codere deal, explaining that they have been pleased with the Mexico deal and look forward to more positive developments in these new countries.

In a recent press release, Maheshwari said:

“Our relationship with Codere has been strong in Mexico and we’re delighted to expand this further into the key regulated markets of Spain and Colombia. Our products have been very well received by Codere customers and we look forward to enjoying this growing partnership.”

Codere’s Focus on Mexico

These new moves in Colombia and Spain seem to be part of Codere’s strategic approach at conquering the Latin American market. Codere recently sponsored the popular Mexican men’s soccer team Rayados, becoming the team’s official betting partner in a well-marketed campaign.

Codere signed a similar deal in Argentina a few weeks ago with Club Atlético River Plate. Perhaps new sponsorship deals in Colombia and Spain are the next step, as the company seems keen on expanding not only its online casino offerings but also its presence in the growing sports betting markets across Latin America.

About the new deal with Pragmatic Play, Codere Casino Product Manager Sarit Adania said:

“Pragmatic Play’s slot offering is already enjoyed by our players in Mexico and we’re thrilled to take their content live in two further major markets. It is an important step for us as our partnership grows and we look forward to bringing amazing gaming experiences to our Spanish and Mexican customers.”

Pragmatic Play Makes Moves in Latin America

Pragmatic Play has likewise been busy in the region. The company currently creates as many as five slot titles per month, making it a leader in online slots at the moment. The company also has offerings around live casino, bingo, scratch card games and more.

Those paying attention to the software providers moves in recent months will know that this is not their first deal in Colombia. Pragmatic Play also partnered with DoradoBet to bring its portfolio to Peru, Spain and Colombia earlier this summer.

Before that, Pragmatic Play worked with BetPlay in Colombia and Brazilian operator AgClub7, releasing new slots and offering select promotions for customers there.

As of now, Pragmatic Play also has deals in the Dominican Republic, Argentina, Venezuela, and Paraguay.
