Gaming software and lottery supplier International Game Technology (IGT) recently revealed that it was named Lottery Supplier of the Year at the 2022 SBC Awards North America, which was held in New York City, New York. The awards were held simultaneously with the 2022 SBC Summit North America, which took place nearby in New Jersey.

Award Is Proof of IGT’s Commitment to Delivering Best In-Class Solutions
Major software solutions and lottery supplier company International Game Technology (IGT) recently revealed that it was awarded the prestigious title of Lottery Supplier of the Year at the 2022 SBC Awards North America, which took place recently in New York City, New York. The industry accolade reinforces the supplier’s “global lottery industry leadership”, according to the business in a shared press release.
IGT Chief Operating Officer of Global Lottery, Jay Gendron, highlighted IGT’s leading position in the industry over the last 40 years, citing the award as proof of its commitment to offering the best solutions to its many customers:

IGT Unveiled Its iLottery Showcase Portal in 2021
A significant moment for International Game Technology (IGT) arrived in 2021, when it unveiled its signature iLottery Showcase portal, designed with the intention to support current and prospective customers with features such as eInstants, game assets, and case studies, all in what the supplier calls one accessible and secure website.
On top of that, IGT also offers a streamlined omnichannel experience thanks to its standardized APIs and native integration with retail central systems, thereby allowing lotteries “to offer the same games they sell at retail in a digital format” according to the company.
A little background on the SBC Awards show: the 2022 edition was held simultaneously as the 2022 SBC Summit North America, which took place at the same time in New Jersey. The event recognized the efforts of operators, affiliates and suppliers from all the major digital and sports betting industries, including payments, marketing, platform providers and data.
IGT Extended Contract with Rhode Island Lottery in March 2022
In other recent International Game Technology (IGT) news, the gambling technology giant announced in March 2022 that it would be extending its contract with the Rhode Island Lottery by a significant 20 years, remaining in the process the state lottery’s exclusive supplier
IGT’s Global Solutions Corporation subsidiary will continue providing its solutions and services in the state, maintaining 1,100 jobs until 2043. It will also need to establish a joint venture with Bally’s Corporation, seeing as the latter is set to become the exclusive supplier of video lottery terminals to the Rhode Island Lottery starting in January 2023.
Clearly Rhode Island is an important market for International Game Technology (IGT), because the supplier has also committed to replacing the lottery’s video lottery central system in 2025 and upgrading its iLottery system in 2023, providing an enhanced suite of analytics as a result.

IGT’s Resort Wallet Product Was Approved in Nevada in January 2022
Nevada is another friendly state for International Game Technology (IGT) – in January 2022, the Battle Born State approved the launch of the supplier’s Resort Wallet module as part of its IGT Advantage casino management system.
Nevada bettors can now make the most of IGT’s cashless gaming solution. Casinos in Nevada who elect to use the supplier’s technology can now offer players the ability to fund cashless wagering accounts from third-party sources such as bank accounts, debit cards and Slightline Play+ accounts using Resort Wallet and IGTPay.
Ryan Reddy, International Game Technology’s (IGT) senior vice president of global PM video lottery terminals, systems, payments and poker, saw the news as the perfect way to put a cap on a successful 2021 for the supplier:
