BetMGM’s Offer to be Integrated into All Things Comedy Podcasts

World-renowned casino operator BetMGM continues to expand its brand in new and entertaining ways: it has just announced that it will be partnering together with the ever-popular comedian Bill Burr, along with his All Things Comedy podcast network.

The partnership will see the operator integrate its sportsbook data and promotional offers into Burr’s All Things Comedy-produced podcasts, as well as Burr’s beloved Monday Morning Podcast, his YouTube channel, and finally his Anything Better show, which he hosts together with fellow stand-up comedian Paul Virzi.

In a statement announcing the partnership, Burr provided one of his usual witty quips to mark the occasion:

“You gotta have some juice on the game, otherwise what are we doing? Sitting outside eating hot dogs?”Bill Burr, Comedian

For its part, chief revenue officer of BetMGM Matt Prevost expressed the brand’s excitement to be working with such a major figure in the worlds of comedy and entertainment:

“Bill Burr has one of the funniest, most distinctive and outspoken voices in comedy. We look forward to seeing BetMGM content incorporated into his Podcast and broader social channels.”

As for a quick BetMGM licensing update: the provider recently launched its mobile sportsbook in the state of Mississippi, having also received sports betting licenses in Arizona and Wyoming in the past couple of months.

BetMGM Also Recently Partnered with MMA Journalist Ariel Helwani

BetMGM has been focusing hard on its branding game in 2021, having also just recently announced the appointment of mixed martial arts (MMA) journalist Ariel Helwani as its new brand ambassador.

As part of his new role, Helwani will feature BetMGM branding in his own personal promotional content. He will also star in future BetMGM advertisement campaigns, as well as in its social media content and fan events.

Helwani noted how sports betting has always had a close relationship with the world of mixed martial arts (MMA), hence why he is looking forward to working together with the storied casino operator:

“Sports betting has always been intertwined with the mixed martial arts world and now, with its availability in more states, I’m excited to work hand-in-hand with BetMGM to deliver unique insights into the sports betting world.”

Helwani has plenty of experience working as a brand ambassador and industry analyst, already having brands such as ESPN under his belt. He also currently hosts The MMA Hour service for Vox Media, as well as The Ringer MMA Show podcast. He covers all the latest news and trends in MMA, boxing and professional wrestling in these products. Furthermore, Helwani has been awarded the World MMA Award Journalist of the Year award for 10 consecutive years now.

Matt Prevost once again came in to praise Helwani’s extensive experience covering the MMA industry: “Ariel has played a prominent role over the years in growing MMA to the masses. His extensive knowledge and signature reporting style makes him a tremendous addition to the BetMGM team.”

Sports Bettors Should Already be Looking Out for BetMGM Gift Cards

Earlier in September 2021, BetMGM announced something quite novel for the sports betting industry: its own officially branded gift cards going on sale in convenience stores all across the United States.

The offer comes as part of a brand-new partnership with payment provider TAPPP, which is the prepaid consumer market place of Singapore-based digital entertainment service provider Swissclear Global.

BetMGM’s initial plans are to stock the products in over 6000 locations across eight states. These gift cards can currently be bought in denominations of $25 and $50, though that could very well change in the future.

The need to reach its customers in quick and accessible ways was cited by head of payments at BetMGM Maria Tomlinson as one of the main reasons behind the decision to begin selling gift cards:

“One of the biggest pieces of feedback we get from our customers is that they want a simple and convenient way to fund their accounts. Just in time for the start of football season, we’re thrilled to introduce an option for players to quickly and securely fund their BetMGM accounts, while avoiding deposit failures.”

BetMGM Partnered with NYRA Bets Back in June 2021

Back in June 2021, BetMGM struck a partnership deal with the state of New York’s Racing Association’s online betting platform, NYRA Bets, marking a milestone for the casino operator, seeing as NYRA Bets is its first-ever horse racing partner in the United States.

The NYRA Bets service already has a wide reach over the country and indeed the world, already being currently available in over 30 US states and at over 200 racing tracks worldwide.

The partnership means that BetMGM will receive access to NYRA’s horse racing app, thereby allowing its customers to place wagers on events ranging such as the Kentucky Derby, the Belmont Stakes, and the Breeders’ Cup.
