PixBet Sponsors Brazil’s América Futebol Clube

PixBet is the newest sponsor of América Futebol Clube — also known as América — a club from the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte in Minas Gerais. PixBet is a Brazilian online betting platform that is gaining traction throughout the country via partnerships like this, as well as innovative customer care.

The Sponsorship

PixBet’s sponsorship of América, or “Coelho” (the Rabbit), is a short-term affair for now, only set to last until the end of the 2022 season. Until then, the sponsorship includes PixBet’s logo featured on the América kit. PixBet’s green iconography should fit well with the team’s traditional black and green kit.

The sponsorship debuted during the Brazilian Championship league games. The game took place on August 23 between América Futebol Clube and Red Bull Bragantino-SP. Though the debut of the shirt was enjoyed by all parties, América unfortunately failed to win the match, with Bragantino taking the win 2 – 0.

Still, both members of PixBet and América agree the partnership is a strong one. PixBet is now the ninth brand featured on América’s kit this year, but they also bring something unique to the table in terms of their online sports betting outreach.

Erley Lemos, Marketing and Business Director for América Futebol Clube, explained why such a partnership is fruitful for the club at this time in the season.

“We are very pleased with the completion of PixBet’s master sponsorship at a key moment of the season. It is a company that has arrived to further strengthen the club and will be with us for a long time. PixBet offers a very interesting product to our fans, who will be able to bet on the games and receive their winnings very quickly. We are happy to strengthen the relationship with a brand that differentiates itself in its industry.”

The team shirt now features PixBet on the main chest space. Other sponsors include Premium Saúde (front), Sesc (collar), BH Supermarkets (sleeve), Direcional (upper back), Intralot/Keno Minas (back), Nutrata (gloves), AutoTruck (shorts) and Ecodux (shorts).


PixBet’s managing partner Diomar Tadeu was equally optimistic about the new partnership. In the team’s press release, he said:

“PixBet’s priority is to reduce bureaucracy in the world of betting for our users, from the moment of deposit to the moment of withdrawal, which can be done in minutes. It is with great satisfaction that we welcome América, a club for which we have total admiration and great respect for its entire history in the sport. As official sponsors, we believe in Coelho’s growth and we hope to build a trajectory of even more achievements.”
