RacingTV Partners With 2mee

RacingTV has announced a collaboration with direct human messaging platform 2mee. Following a trial with BetVictor and SkyBet, the hologram solution exhibited strong results for the British horseracing channel. The partnership paves the way for the use of the cutting-edge technology with even more of RacingTV’s betting partners.

Cutting-Edge Technology

RacingTV has partnered with 2mee to enhance the promotion of live betting offers on its 24-hour media platform. 2mee’s futuristic offering has been proven to elicit a strong response amongst audiences. Now RacingTV is the latest firm to team up with the hologram creator.

2mee is a direct human messaging platform which has created a face messaging system that generates human push notifications live. The company describes its innovative system as simple, yet sophisticated. The results have proved positive, as 2mee has delivered record engagement across its multi-channel digital marketing and communications.

The exciting new partnership will see RacingTV benefit from 2mee’s bespoke human hologram messages, which will help to drive bettors to its partners’ sites. Online sportsbooks and affiliate partners of RacingTV, BetVictor and Sky Betting and Gaming, have already been testing the technology for a number of weeks.

The trials have shown positive results, with one messaging campaign performing particularly well. A hologram message from BetVictor ambassador Harry Redknapp helped to boost the uptake of a new player bonus offer by 38%. 2mee CEO, James Riley, was delighted to announce the new partnership. He has high hopes that 2mee’s cutting-edge technology will be a success for RacingTV and its betting partners. Riley added:

“We are thrilled to be working with RacingTV and for its operator partners to be able to use our technology to send direct human messages to bettors. This really does allow them to stand out from the crowd and take engagement and conversion to the next level.”

Riley continued, explaining that emotional marketing is currently the most effective way of engaging and communicating with consumers. 2mee’s face-to-face messaging helps brands to foster a friendly and positive connection with their audiences.

Successful 2mee Trial

RacingTV’s Director of Marketing, Clive Cottrell, was equally pleased with the results of the trial use of 2mee’s technology. Speaking in a press release, he said that the British TV channel has not seen comparable engagement and conversion rates before.

While BetVictor and SkyBet trialed the hologram campaigns, they were the top performing brands on the pages in which hologram messages were active. This is great news for RacingTV, and following the small trial, 2mee’s technology will be rolled out to all of the racing broadcaster’s gambling partners.

As a leading betting affiliate, 2mee’s hologram campaigns will enable RacingTV to elevate volumes of new customers to its operator partners. It too will benefit from boosted engagement, conversion rates and affiliate revenue streams.

Luke Zgaga, Head of Acquisition UK at BetVictor, spoke about the value of 2mee’s offering. According to Zgaga, the trial of the unique human hologram message exceeded the sportsbook’s expectations, showing strong results far beyond the engagement levels associated with static image formats. BetVictor is excited to work with 2mee in the future to further enhance its engagement with potential new users.

2mee’s patented human hologram messages have also been utilized by a number of other leading betting and gaming brands, including BetFred and Sportsbet.io. These platforms have used the technology on their websites and apps to engage with customers in a new and intelligent way.

2mee has revolutionized the way that operators and their brands are able to interact with audiences by making it easier than ever to market through third-party affiliates. 2mee boasts the capabilities of a volumetric studio, condensed into a mobile app.

The user can quickly and easily record a message, which 2mee then crops into a hologram of just the person’s face. By reducing the surrounding clutter and focusing on just the face, 2mee is able to leverage emotional intelligence to deliver messages to viewers that are engaging and focused.

Racing Pays Respects

The new partnership comes as British racing pays its respects to Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away on September 8th at Balmoral Castle at the age of 96. The UK is currently observing a national mourning period of ten days. The funeral is to be held at Westminster Abbey on September 19th, which will be a national bank holiday.

The British Horseracing Authority has announced that all UK racing events timetabled for Monday September 19th will be postponed as a mark of respect, a decision that has been backed by UK racing’s governing bodies. In a statement, the BHA said that it would enable everyone involved in British racing the opportunity to mourn the Queen’s passing and remember her contributions to sport and to the nation.

Horseracing events in the UK took a two-day break last weekend, following the passing of Her Majesty. The third day of the St Leger meeting at Doncaster was cancelled, although some of its flagship races took place on Sunday. Much of horseracing returned on Sunday, except for events at Musselburgh Racecourse, as the Queen lay in state in Edinburgh.

Races taking place during the period up until the funeral will include tributes to the Queen’s passing. Arena Racing Company said that flags will be flown at half-mast, jockeys will wear black armbands and a moment of silence will be observed before the opening race at each meeting.

The Queen’s passion for horses was lifelong and she was well known as one of the greatest supporters in the history of horseracing. She rode horses until the age of 95 and was closely involved in breeding and racing horses. Her Majesty was also a patron of the Jockey Club and the Thoroughbred Breeders Association, and was figurehead of the Royal Ascot.
