Detailed Casino Room Mobile Casino Review
As society’s reliance on mobile phones continues to rise, so must the effort required by online casinos to ensure their mobile offering meets the highest standards. I have reviewed many different online casinos in my time, so I know exactly what I’m looking for when it comes to quality. For this Casino Room app review, I will be put putting the operator to the test against all of my favoured criteria for analysing a quality mobile casino. By the time you finish reading this Casino Room mobile casino review, you will have a very clear idea of what you can expect if you were to decide to play there.
- Why Choose This App?
- Over 450+ mobile games
- NetEnt, Microgaming & Betsoft games
- Designed to fit most devices
- Play live casino games
The key criteria which I find to be the most important when conducting mobile reviews are things like, how the games selections matches up against the main site, whether the casino been appropriately optimised for all mobile devices, and whether there are any specific mobile bonuses. If you would prefer to skip the review and head straight to the operator to see for yourself, you can access the Casino Room mobile app via the QR code above. If not, stick around, grab a cuppa’ and let’s get started.
Key Aspects of the Casino Room App
The Mobile Game Selection
A mobile games selection is a bit like a fast food franchise. I expect the same service and menu options whether I’m in drive-through only, or in a four-storey restaurant building. Forgive the hunger-induced metaphor, but the point remains true. Nothing grates my gears more than an online operator not providing an equal service for its mobile users, compared to its desktop users. On that note, I am happy to report that the overwhelming majority of this operator’s main site games are also available through the Casino Room mobile casino. You will still have access to your slot favourites such as Book of the Dead, Planet of the Apes and Wacky Panda. In addition to your slot favourites, all of the important table games carry over including, American Roulette Gold, Blackjack Multihand and the exciting, board game inspired, Monopoly Roulette Tycoon.
1/4 Steam Tower Take a trip back to the height of the industrial age with the Steam Tower video slot game packed with steampunk charm and a 7x multiplier free spins round.
2/4 Victorious March with the finest Roman military legionaires as you battle the Victorious video slot game on your mobile device. The retro styling here is comic book-esque, and looks wonderful.
3/4 Game of Thrones When you spin with the Game of Thrones, you either win or you die. Well, maybe the game isn’t quite that dramatic. Jump into this medieval fantasy slot game based on the hit TV show.
4/4 Universal Monster: The Phantom’s Curse Will you survive the Phantom’s Curse video slot game? You can enjoy this upcoming Phantom of the Opera spin-off on your mobile device.
The operator enjoys a fruitful relationship with three well-established and highly-respected software gaming producers in NetEnt, Micrograming, and Betsoft. In this case, I guess it’s true what they say about friends in high places getting you to where you want to be. I’m happy to conclude that the Casino Room mobile casino gaming selection is of a high quality.
Another highly respected ‘friend’ of the casino is Evolution Gaming which is responsible for the operators live gaming selection – it is also fully optimised and available for mobile devices. At the time of writing, Evolution Gaming had successfully defended their EGR Live Casino Supplier of the Year award a record eight times in a row. The Floyd Mayweather of live casino producers has shown no sign of slowing down, having opened a brand-spanking new HQ in Riga, Latvia where all of its live dealers and games are produced. Casino Room Mobile Optimisation
These days, a responsively designed mobile casino is everything. Gone are the days when users are prepared to put up with fumbling around a tiny screen trying to play their favourite games. If you’re not optimised, you might as well rule out over half of your potential audience. Once more, I am happy to report all is well on the Casino Room app front. The app is responsive to most of the top web browsers. The top menu from the site is taken away and reorganised into a drop-down box which can be opened and closed at your leisure. The site navigation is slick and allows for easy access to your favourite games and cleverly sub-divides the games selection into useful categories such as the most popular, new, and classic games.
It is still possible to access support via the Casino Room mobile casino which is, of course, is useful if you ever have any issues whilst you are gaming. In the main body of the casino lobby, much of the unnecessary text has been taken away to leave a visually prominent screen with tiles of the different games and an easy to use play button for starting them up. If I’m being honest, whilst there is nothing necessarily wrong with the user experience, I do feel it falls a bit short when it comes to the branding and design of the app. It’s a bit boring for lack of a better word. Of course, if your favourite colour is turquoise blue, you might feel a bit differently. My favourite app to date is probably the LeoVegas mobile app. It couples a fantastic casino offer (games and bonuses) with an out-of-this-world mobile experience.
Bonuses for Mobile
Although it is not so prominent at the moment, I do believe a time will come when bonuses specifically for mobile users will become more of a thing. As for now, I do not hold this particular aspect as a make-or-break factor for an online operator, but I do feel it’s certainly worth looking at. At present, the Casino Room mobile casino does not currently offer a specific mobile bonus. That said, you can still access the Casino Room welcome Bonus via the operator’s mobile app. If this is something that interests you, it might be worth checking out the NetBet mobile app as it currently offers two mobile bonuses every week.
Mobile Payment Methods
As this is a dedicated mobile review, I believe it’s important to cover the specific function of depositing and withdrawals through your mobile. Unfortunately, the casino does not fully match its main website offering with its mobile offer. At present, the Casino Room mobile app only accepts deposits and withdrawals if you are using your Visa or Mastercard credit/debit cards or through the e-wallet, Trustly. Payment options that you can find through the main site such as Skrill, paysafecard and Neteller are not permitted through mobile devices, which is a bit odd to be honest given that so many other casinos I have reviewed offer these services through their mobiles. If your preferred method is not here, perhaps you might find another casino which will accept e-wallets, paysafecard, or even Bitcoin at some of these other top casinos.
Mobile App Requirements
As far as the Casino Room mobile casino requirements go, all you need is your handheld device, an internet connection and the contact details of your nearest orthopaedic surgery for all the damage your wrist is going to take from the amount of gaming you’ll do on your phone. Seriously though, you should watch out for that, play in moderation! As I mentioned before, the app has been responsively designed meaning it will automatically adjust to the optimum gaming experience, no matter what device you choose to use. You can play on Android tablets, iPhones, iPads and even the latest Kindles!
|All Details About the App Downloads|
|OS||Minimum Requirement||Download Size|
|.Android||Android 5.0 or later||N/A (web app only)|
|.iOS||iOS 8.0 or later||N/A (web app only)|
This operator appears to have followed the latest casino trend by doing away with dedicated mobile apps for downloads. It makes sense, to be honest, why pay to produce apps when you can just build a responsive web app application and meet everyone’s needs. If, however, you prefer to have that dedicated place on your phone that is just a simple touch away, most of my top-rated mobile casinos all feature a dedicated app.
When I first started this Casino Room app review, I had had a bit of a bad experience at the casino. I had a bit of trouble accessing the mobile casino on Google Chrome and had received pretty poor customer service advice from the operator’s support team. That said, after a few back and forths, we got it fixed and I have to say, I have been pleasantly surprised by this mobile casino. The games selection boasts top picks from some of my favourite software houses in NetEnt, Microgaming and Betsoft. The Casino Room live gaming is provided by Evolution Gaming, no need to say anything more there. The Casino Room app has been diligently designed to provide the most optimal experience you can expect, no matter what device you prefer to use. You really can’t ask for much more.
- Major Strengths
- Evoultion Gaming software
- Responsively designed app
- Major Weaknesses
- Fewer payment methods via mobile
- Minor Strengths
- More than 450 mobile games
- Minor Weaknesses
- No mobile bonus
Of course, with any review, there will always be a few shortcomings. The lack of dedicated mobile bonuses is a tad disappointing but as I said before, this is not yet widespread amongst most top providers. I was also disappointed that the payment options available on the website were not also available on the mobile casino. It’s a small detail, but it’s the small details that separate good casinos from the best online casinos in the UK today. I hope you found this dedicated mobile review helpful. I have had some trouble with the Google Chrome mobile app as well, what should I do?
When I contacted customer support, I was advised to clear my cache and try it again on a different browser. Yes, not exactly the most constructive or helpful advice for fixing the issue. In fairness, the app did work immediately on the Firefox browser. I would advise deleting your history and try refreshing the app again.
