Quincy Has Over Two Decades’ Worth of Experience

The global iGaming solutions supplier Aspire Global has revealed that it has appointed the former director of Scientific Games, Quincy Raven, as the new managing director of its US business.

As part of his new role, Raven will direct and apply Aspire Global’s strategies for growth inside of the ever-expanding US market in conjunction with the group’s continued attempts to broaden its standing throughout the nation.

Quincy arrives at his new role at Aspire Global with over 20 years’ worth of experience operating in the technology and gaming industries, having most recently acted as senior director for gaming and payment processing at Blackhawk Network.

Previous to his time at prepaid gift card and payments provider Blackhawk Network, Raven had a stint as the executive director of business development handling the Americas at Scientific Games.

Raven Looks Forward to Continued Work in US Market

Tsachi Maimon, CEO of online gambling supplier Aspire Global, took the announcement of Quincy Raven’s appointment to new managing director as a chance to note how quickly the US iGaming market is growing:

“The US iGaming market is growing at an impressive rate and our objective is to be at the forefront of the developments. Quincy has excellent experience and will focus on accelerating sales and setting up the relevant operations in order to make sure Aspire Global can establish a significant presence in the US market.”Tsachi Maimon, CEO, Aspire Global

For his part, Quincy Raven expressed his pleasure to begin working with Aspire Global as it continues to make moves in the US online gambling scene:

“Aspire Global is one of the strongest supplier brands in the iGaming industry abroad with leading B2B offerings. I look forward to the opportunity to head Aspire Global’s expansion in the US and introduce its complete solution to US operators and companies who want to build a presence in the growing US iGaming market.”

Having recently applied for online gambling licenses in the states of Pennsylvania and Michigan, Aspire Global currently only holds such licenses in West Virginia and New Jersey — at least for now. Additionally, Aspire also secured deals with Amelco and GAN, having also recently launched.

Aspire Global-Owned Pariplay Expands into West Virginia

Pariplay, a game aggregator owned by Aspire Global, announced in January 2021 that it had expanded its existence in the state of West Virginia by securing an interim iGaming supplier license awarded to it by the West Virginia Lottery Commission.

Thanks to the license, Pariplay will now be able to sign deals to provide its suite of gaming content to casino operators in the state. These will include popular titles such as Kings Of The Trident Deluxe, Dragons of the North Deluxe, Mystery Fox, Wolf Riches and Stallion Fortunes. Operators will also enjoy access to thousands of games available through Pariplay’s Fusion aggregation platform.

Prior to West Virginia, New Jersey was the first US state to grant the supplier an online gaming license, which occurred in 2020. Pariplay’s first step into the US gambling market arrived in November 2019, when it secured a deal with 888casino in New Jersey.

Managing director Adrian Bailey had the following to share in January 2021, as the news of the West Virginia license broke:

“Being approved by the West Virginia Lottery Commission to offer our high-quality games to players in the market is a very exciting move for Pariplay, as we see much potential not only in this state but in the US market as a whole.”

Scientific Games Recently Took Over SportCast

One of Quincy Raven’s previous roles before joining Aspire Global as its new managing director was executive director of business development for the Americas at Scientific Games. At the end of May 2021, the lottery solutions and online gambling giant announced that it had acquired innovator of player engagement technology SportCast.

Executive vice president for Sports at Scientific Games, Keith O’Loughlin, used the news to emphasize the group’s excitement at acquiring SportCast and its accompanying BetBuilder platform:

“For sports fans, the ability to define the story of the game, bet on it and watch it live has become a thrilling way to engage in the action. SportCast’s technology and platforms will help us fuel the next wave of our data-driven, global sports expansion. The award-winning BetBuilder product is just the first of many innovative products that can be powered by the underlying platform for the benefit of our customers and we’re thrilled to be able to roll these out.”Keith O’Loughlin, Executive Vice President for Sports, Scientific Games

Recent Scientific Games and FanDuel Partnership Also Eyes West Virginia

To its credit, Scientific Games has also been making major plays in the US gambling market, having partnered with FanDuel in December 2020 to launch its first US online sportsbook in West Virginia.

Having already held an active online sportsbook in the state since 2019, this recent deal means that the FanDuel sportsbook in West Virginia will become equipped with a fresh, new, and up-to-date interface for users, thanks to Scientific Games’ OpenSports platform.

For those not yet in the know, OpenBet is a scalable betting engine created by Scientific Games, which is run exclusively on the supplier’s OpenSports online gaming software. The software package boasts a multitude of software options for online sportsbooks, including risk and liability management, turnkey frontends, and technology solutions.
