Betsson and Greentube Bring Slot Titles to Buenos Aires

NOVOMATIC’s interactive division, Greentube, has partnered with the Swedish gaming operator Betsson in a new deal to launch titles in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This is the first time Greentube will operate in Argentina, though it has similar partnerships throughout the world, including in Paraguay and Spain. Gaming fans in Argentina’s capital city will be able to access the company’s popular titles, including Sizzling Hot™, Lucky Lady’s Charm™, Star Supreme™, Book of Ra™ deluxe, and Star Supreme™.

A Bright Future for Betsson and Greentube

Betsson has not been in Buenos Aires long, with its initial license approved only in February 2022. However, it has had plans in place to embrace growth in Argentina and to bring excellent titles to the capital city through deals with top game developers, like Greentube. Thanks to its license from Argentina’s Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos, Betsson can begin its work in earnest.

In a recent press release, Betsson’s supplier relations manager Laura Peretta shared the company’s strategy and goals for working with Greentube, saying:

“From our existing partnership we know that our customers enjoy playing Greentube’s premium content and we are very happy to be the first operator to launch their games in Argentina. This is a very exciting region for igaming and we are dedicated to offering players the best experience. With Greentube’s content we significantly increase our offering in the country.”

Though several operators have received licenses in Buenos Aires recently, with several going live in December, Betsson is optimistic about what they can offer customers. Greentube shared similar enthusiasm about the partnership, which started as early as 2017.

About the most recent iteration of Greentube and Betsson’s work together, Greentube’s sales and key account manager Lisa Sandner shared:

“It is very exciting for us to introduce our content in Argentina and we are thrilled to make our market debut together with our trusted partner Betsson. Going live in Buenos Aires is an important part of expanding our presence in LatAm where we have already gained a lot of traction and the local audience has embraced our content. We can’t wait to see how our popular titles are received by local online players in the region.”

Greentube’s History

Greentube is headquartered in Vienna, Austria, but enjoys global partnerships and operates within Italy, Greece, Spain, Latin America and other territories. The company is a part of the NOVOMATIC Group, a celebrated game provider. Greentube works as a full-service provider, with a large and growing portfolio of games and the infrastructure and know-how to deliver them securely to partners around the world.

Greentube works with a number of different online casino games and more, including slot games, bingo, poker and other table games, and even social gaming. They work to ensure bettors can enjoy games and bet real money, on secure and reliable platforms. The company has been around since 1998 and became a part of NOVOMATIC in 2010.

Where else does Greentube operate?

Greentube’s operations within the regulated region of Buenos Aires, Argentina are only the latest in a string of impressive deals the company has brokered throughout the world. Greentube content is available in Colombia and Paraguay as well as in Argentina.

In Paraguay, Greentube partners with Il Palazzo, a prominent casino in San Lorenzo. Paraguay’s online gaming vertical has been a reality since 2019, making this work possible. The company has also made headway in Spain, thanks to a partnership with the gaming platform and software developer Tecnalis in 2020. Betsson is also a partner of Tecnalis.
