Pragmatic Play Expands In Venezuela
Pragmatic Play continues to be a company to watch, now partnering with its fourth company to date in Venezuela, a country often overlooked in iGaming. This time, Pragmatic Play is partnering with Grupo Cordialito. In late 2020, Pragmatic Play struck back-to-back deals with Novobets, Parley, and Triples.com.ve, before continuing its expansion into other LatAm countries like Peru, Colombia, Argentina, and the Dominican Republic.
Pragmatic Play and Grupo Cordialito
In mid-March, 2021, representatives from Pragmatic Play revealed that the Maltese company had struck yet another deal with a company in Latin America, turning, again, to Venezuela, a country often overlooked in the grand scheme of the Latin American sports betting industry.
Now, Pragmatic Play’s latest partner is Grupo Cordialito, one of the largest gambling operators active in Latin America. The partnership means that Grupo Cordialito will now have access to Pragmatic Play’s entire library of slots titles, but not its live casino, bingo, or virtual sports offerings.
What Is Grupo Cordialito?
Grupo Cordialito is one of the best-known online gambling providers in South America, and offers a wide array of exciting options for players, from eSports to online gambling. The service is available to international players, who can peruse a vast selection of online sports betting content for sports including volleyball, cricket, tennis, and rugby.
The Games Coming To Grupo Cordialito
Users of Grupo Cordialito’s online casino will now have access to all of Pragmatic Play’s virtual slots content, which includes titles like Eye of the Storm, Joker King, Big Bass Bonanza, Spartan King, The Hand of Midas, Jungle Gorilla, Congo Cash, Emerald King, Return of the Dead, and Peaky Blinders.
Pragmatic Play’s Upcoming Games
Fans of Pragmatic Play will be excited to learn that the company is continuing to crank out new content at a steady clip. Two new titles will be made available to all players of Pragmatic Play slots, including those using third party platforms like Grupo Cordialito, which are Juicy Fruits and Power of Thor Megaways. The first of these two, Juicy Fruits, will be made available on March 25, 2021. Just a few days later, players will be able to make the most of Power of Thor Megaways, which will go live to online users as soon as April 1, 2021. Both follow closely after Pragmatic Play’s latest release, which came out on March 17, 2021.
Pragmatic Play’s Most Recent: Temujin Treasures
The most recent release from Pragmatic Play is Temujin Treasures, a slot inspired by the Mongol Empire and its powerful leader, Genghis Khan. The game, a 4×5 slot, offers players 1,024 different possible ways to win. Players are sure to be thrilled by the high-volatility slot, which comes packed with multipliers, jackpots, and free spins.
A Year Into Pragmatic Play’s LatAm Focus, Exponential Growth
In the year since Pragmatic Play has established a concentrated focus on the Latin American market, the company has spread like wildfire through the continent. In the first three months of 2021 alone, Venezuela marks the fifth LatAm country in which Pragmatic Play has expanded, established, or secured licensing.
Concretizing Business With Argentina, Peru, Venezuela, and Colombia
Four out of five of these countries — Peru, Venezuela, Colombia, and Argentina — were countries in which Pragmatic Play already had a presence. Significantly, Pragmatic Play’s venture into Argentina marks the company’s certification as a legal iGaming operator in Buenos Aires, the culmination of the province’s road to legal online gambling.
Establishing A Presence In The Dominican Republic
In mid-February, 2021, Pragmatic Play announced that it would be partnering with Superbets, a gambling company with operations in the Dominican Republic. The deal meant that Pragmatic Play’s slots would be immediately available to Superbets users, with live casino and virtual sports offerings to follow.
Pragmatic Play In Venezuela
Grupo Cordialito marks the fourth Venezuelan company to partner with Pragmatic Play, but the first in 2021. In late 2020, Pragmatic Play announced a string of business deals in Venezuela, beginning with Parley and continuing with Novobets and then, a few weeks later, with Triples.com.ve.
Not Dissuaded By Political Tensions Or Economic Strife
Pragmatic Play’s continued expansion into Venezuela has not wavered, even as the Latin American country’s political upheaval and economic crisis persists. In mid-March, inflation reached a dizzying 2,700%, causing Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro to encourage use of a digital currency, what he calls the “digital bolivar.”
As of March 15, 2021, lines outside of banks in Venezuela grow longer and longer as residents attempted to withdraw 400,000 bolivars — a sum which equals just 20 US cents. According to a recent report by Reuters, President Bolivar is looking to Argentina for guidance on at least one key issue: public transportation.
